New Horizons Education Bursary: Round 2 Applications Now Open

The New Horizons Education Bursary is now accepting applications for Round 2 of 2025. 

Open to all Tuath Housing residents, the bursary offers up to €2,000 to support the cost of education or training programmes, from short courses to full degrees.

Now in its third year, the bursary continues to grow in both reach and impact. Since launching in 2023, a total of 78 residents have received support:

In Round 1 of 2025, 21 residents were awarded funding, with a total value of €21,201.

An additional 57 residents were supported across 2023 and 2024.

A wide variety of courses have been funded, including business, counselling, creative arts, teaching, IT, driving instruction, beauty, health and wellness, and postgraduate study. The bursary is helping residents return to education, switch careers, or gain new skills for employment, often for the first time.

Applications for Round 2 are open until 5pm on 5 August 2025.
