The Journey Planner App from Transport for Ireland allows you to access live real time departure and journey planning information across the Transport for Ireland (TFI) network (Bus Éireann, Dublin Bus, Go Ahead Ireland, Luas and Iarnród Éireann Irish Rail services).

For travel by bus, Luas, or DART, get a Leap Card for convenience and to save money. Remember, you can save even more if you use a Child Leap Card until the age of 19! You can download the Leap Card Top-Up App and instantly check your balance, top up your card.

All Irish taxis can be verified by using the TFI Drive Check app to make sure the taxi you are taking has been registered. The app also lets you email a friend with your trip details.

Getting to the Head Office – Leeson Street

Our city centre location means we are easily accessible by walking, cycling, public transport and car sharing services:

By Bus: There are four Bus Stops along Leeson St. Lower; 845, 846,786,909 with many more in the surrounding area.

By Luas: There are three Green Line Luas stops in the locality: Charlemont (9 min walk) and Harcourt (10 min walk) and St. Stephen’s Green (12 min walk)

By Train: Pearse Station is a 20 minute walk passing the well-known sites of Merrion Square, Leinster House and Fitzwilliam Square.

By Bike: Dublin Bikes have bicycles available for short time hire for €3.50. The nearest bike stations to the Leeson St Office are located less than 5 minutes’ walk from the office at Fitzwilliam Square, Wilton Terrace and Earlsfort Terrace. In addition, Bleeper and MOBY bikes are two stationless bike sharing services currently operating in Dublin. If you are cycling to the office, secured bike parking can be requested at reception

Pay as you go Driving: This is now a widely available option once you are registered in advance. A google search for ‘car sharing’ will bring up a number of companies offering this service (some companies have certain requirements e.g. that you are over 21 years of age, have a drivers license for more than 2 years). Please note we do not have visitor parking on site however on street parking is available in the vicinity.

Getting to the James’s Place East Office

Located between Baggot Street and Mount Street the James’s place East office is well served by public transport and easily accessible by walking, cycling and bike and car sharing services:

By Bus: The nearest bus stops are less than 1 minute walk from the office located on Baggot Street Lower (Stops 750, 784, 783, 751) with many more in the surrounding area.

By Train: Grand Canal Dock and Dublin Pearse Station are each a 20 minute walk from James’s Place East.

By Bike: Dublin Bikes have bicycles available for short time hire for €3.50. The nearest bike stations to the James’s Place East Office are a 2 minute walk from the office located on James’s Street East. Located just off the Lower Glanmire Road the Cork office is well situated to access by public transport:

By Bus: Cork City Bus Station (Parnell Place) is less than 10 minutes walk away.

By Train: Kent Station is a 5-minute walk from the office.

By Bike: TFI bikes makes getting around easy. The nearest bike stations to the office are located on the Lower Glanmire Road and at Kent Station.

Getting to the Galway Office

Located in City Centre, the Galway office is easily accessible by public transport:

By Bus: Galway Coach Station (Fairgreen Road) is less than 15 minutes walk away.

By Train: Ceannt Station is a 10 minute walk from the office.

By Bike: TFI bikes makes getting around easy. The nearest bike stations to the office are located on Mainguard Street.

By Bus: Bus Eireann Bus Station Dundalk Bus is a 7 minute walk from Tuath’s Office

By Train: Dundalk Clarke Train Station is served by the Dublin-Belfast “Enterprise” express trains as well as local Commuter services to and from Dublin and is a 25 mins walk to the office.
