Avena is a development in the town of Ballisodare containing over 300 homes. Completed in 2006, the scheme was never occupied and fell into disrepair. As part of the redevelopment, Tuath acquired 12 apartments, across 2021 and 2022, as part of a purchase with Focus Capital.
The development was delivered over 2 phases. The project was a collaboration between Sligo County Council, the Department of Housing Local Government and Housing and the Housing Finance Agency. This development now provides a high standard of housing in the Ballisodare area which is a thriving suburb of Sligo town.
